Terms of Service

These Terms of Service apply when you use the Rethink My Trip website, create or use a Club account, or submit a travel planning or itinerary review request.

1. Our service

Rethink My Trip provides independent travel planning, itinerary review and travel-related recommendations.

We may help you evaluate routes, destinations, transport options, accommodation areas, activities, timing, budgets and other aspects of a trip.

2. We do not make bookings on your behalf

Unless explicitly stated otherwise, Rethink My Trip does not book flights, hotels, transport, activities or other travel services on your behalf.

You remain responsible for making and verifying your own bookings directly with the relevant provider.

3. Travel information can change

Prices, schedules, entry requirements, transport services, availability, opening hours and other travel information can change at any time.

Recommendations are based on information reasonably available at the time they are prepared. You should verify important details with the relevant airline, accommodation provider, government authority or other official source before travelling.

4. Your responsibilities

You are responsible for ensuring that you have any required passports, visas, travel authorisations, insurance, vaccinations and other documents or requirements applicable to your trip.

5. Third-party services

Rethink My Trip may recommend or link to third-party websites, booking platforms, accommodation providers, airlines, transport companies or activity providers.

Those services operate independently and are subject to their own terms, prices, cancellation policies and privacy practices.

6. Affiliate links and discounts

If affiliate links or recommendations are used, they will be clearly identified near the link or in a prominent disclosure in the relevant article or recommendation. If you make a purchase through such a link, Rethink My Trip may receive a commission at no additional cost to you.

Discounts, vouchers and promotional offers may have eligibility requirements, expiry dates or other conditions determined by the provider and are not guaranteed to remain available.

7. Payments

Submitting the travel planning form does not by itself create a payment obligation.

If paid services are offered, the scope of work and applicable price will be communicated before payment is requested.

7A. Rethink My Trip Club — FREE BETA

Free during beta. No card required. The Club is currently a beta service. Creating an account does not create a payment obligation. There is no active membership checkout, subscription charge or automatic billing during beta.

The planned price after beta is $6 USD/month. This is a future price, not a charge active now. Before any paid membership begins, we will explain the available options and applicable terms and provide notice and a grace period. You will only be charged if you expressly choose a future paid subscription. We will not automatically convert a free beta account into a paid subscription.

Beta features, content and availability may change. We may change or end the beta, with notice where practicable. Travel articles provide general editorial information; prices, offers, schedules and availability may change and should be checked with the relevant provider before you act. You make your own bookings and remain responsible for your final travel decisions.

7B. Club accounts and acceptable use

Provide an email address you control, confirm it and keep your password and account access secure. Tell us through our contact page if you suspect unauthorised access. You are responsible for your use of the account, subject to applicable law.

Accounts are personal. Do not share or resell account access, bypass access controls, scrape protected content, republish members-only articles without permission, spam the service or use it unlawfully. We may suspend or terminate access used abusively, fraudulently or in breach of these terms. Contact us if you believe a restriction is a mistake. You may close your account from My account; the Privacy Policy explains how account information is handled.

8. No guarantee of savings

We may suggest ways to reduce travel costs, but any estimated savings are illustrative and depend on availability, timing, exchange rates, provider pricing and your final booking choices.

9. Limitation of responsibility

Rethink My Trip aims to provide useful and accurate planning recommendations, but cannot guarantee that every recommendation will remain available or suitable for every traveller.

Travel decisions and bookings remain the responsibility of the traveller.

10. Acceptable use

You must not misuse the website, attempt to interfere with its operation, submit malicious content, automate abusive requests or attempt to gain unauthorised access to restricted areas.

11. Changes to these terms

These Terms may be updated as Rethink My Trip develops. The latest version will be published on this page.
